August 31, 2012. Crown Princess Yeon Woo (Kim Yoo Jung) was having a very critical ailment. The physicians in the palace could not treat her. Her father, Minister Heo Young Jae (Sun Woo Jae Duk), was already trying to search for a possible cure. The shaman, Jang Nok Young (Jun Mi Sun), told Minster Heo Young Jae that Yeon Woo would only be saved if she would stop fighting the spirit within. Minsiter Heo Young Jae asked if what she meant is her would kill her own daughter. He could not do it even if it is painful for him to watch Yeon Woo suffer. Meanwhile, Crown Prince Lee Hwon (Yeo Jin Goo ) is troubled because he could visit nor do anything to give alleviation to the ailment of Crown Princess Yeon Woo. He is dismayed in himself because he is a high ranked in the society but he could not save her. He had a dream that night and found Yeon Woo at his bedside. He was glad to see her looked better. Yeon Woo then told him that she wanted to let him know about the other reason why he sends him that plant. She wanted to know if he would send her a letter and asked if what would be the plant when it grows big. The crown prince laughed at the reason that Yeon Woo gave. If only he knew then he would have done that.
